The location was wonderful and the gardens were beautiful with access to the river and comfortable seating areas there.
Most of the staff were very nice although there were obvious language issues.
Breakfast was ok, food in general was only ok
Our room was a so-called upgrade, however where were a number of issues, mainly a faulty shower door, which fell on me the first morning and was not repaired, nor was a change of room offered. Wifi and power were on and off a lot.
The bedding went from very good to poor quality over the course of our stay.
On the second half of our stay, the breakfast was changed from a buffet, to a selection on a plate which did not reflect the type of food we like to eat, without explanation.
There were lots of beautiful cats on the premises and although I'm an animal lover, I was appalled that some cat poo deposited by our door was not cleaned up for days.
